At the end of X in Flight, the Author’s Notes promise a list of links to charities and causes that I support. Feel free to copy me, and support these causes, too. I talk a lot at the end of that book about how to be a hero. It doesn’t take much.  

Here are some rape victim support sites. There are lots on the internet for your local area, just search by “rape help [where you live]” and there is likely a local number to call. Please call someone and ask for help. You shouldn’t be alone. 

Alcoholism is not an easy thing to come to terms with, no matter how old you are. There is help out there for teens. Check out these sites and please, seek help if you need it. No one will blame you. Alcoholism is a disease. Ask for help.
